We don't know the exact size of the Galaxy Note 8 Android Oreo update, but given that it's an entire new operating system with a new user interface, it probably won't be a tiny download.
If we had to guess, we'd expect the Galaxy Note 8 Android Oreo update to command at least 500MB of space. Samsung's Galaxy S8 Oreo update is around that size. You can expect Android 8.0 Oreo to take a couple of minutes to download over high speed Wi-Fi and 5+ minutes to install on your device. The exact timing will of course vary based on your connection speed and your current version of Android.
When you go to download Android Oreo to your Galaxy Note 8, make sure you've carved out some free time to monitor the download and handle problems if they popup. |
