Use as a Screen for your Mac

With  Sidecar, you can use it as an external display for your Mac. This works without any wires and you can use it to mirror your Mac display and then use the Apple Pencil or you can use it as a second display to get more done when you are on the go or at your desk. 

Your Mac needs to be on macOS Catalina and your iPad on iPadOS 13 or higher for this to work. You can use it wirelessly, or plugged into your Mac so the iPad stays charged up. 

Click on the AirPlay icon in the menu of your Mac and then choose your iPad. You can also use the Sidecar options in Preferences to connect. This works with most Mac's from 2016 or later, but it seems to work better with more recent Macs.
