With Google infusing new talent into Motorola, it's only a matter of time before the company bears the fruit of its changes. Maybe the first piece that comes to the surface will be the rumored Motorola X Phone.

The X Phone is rumored to be many things so its true nature is unresolved. However, rumors suggest an edge-to-edge 5-inch display likely 1080p in quality, a vanilla version of Android with bloatware, a $299 price tag on Verizon, cheaper unlocked pricing through the Google Play Store, and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

If a majority of that is true, the X Phone could be one of the shining stars of 2013 and a solid successor to the previous Droid-branded devices.

It's rumored to be arriving at Google I/O in May.
